Gaming revenues generated more than $613 million for the state’s Property Tax Relief Fund this year. This summer, homeowners received property tax cuts of approximately $343 in Erie City School District and $364 in Iroquois School District.
As the revenue from current and yet-to-be-opened gaming facilities continues to grow, homeowners should receive even deeper school property tax cuts in future years.
