Rep. Hornaman (r.) talks with Dr. John M. Ferretti, D.O., President and CEO of Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. They are looking at some of the state-of-the-art equipment at the new LECOM Medical Fitness and Wellness Center at 54th & Peach Streets in Millcreek Township. The building is named for Dr. Ferretti's parents, John M. and Silvia Ferretti.

In 2007, Rep. Hornaman helped provide partial funding to the Millcreek Township Police Department to upgrade its basement firing range with a new bullet trap. In March 2009, he had an opportunity to try out the pistol range personally.
