 Everett (at 4 months) spends his days in my office with his mother Chief of Staff Jeanette Blize. He's a nursing baby, but his mom is also needed in the office to serve you. I have supported legislation to make it legal for mothers to nurse their babies in public and to be given time to express milk at work. We hope to be an example to other businesses.  Rep. Babette Josephs helps to plant the 2011 Hunger Garden on the grounds of the state Capitol. This is the second year of the Capitol Hunger Garden Project. Last year's garden yielded hundreds of pounds of produce, including tomatoes, onions and green peppers. The produce was distributed to central Pennsylvania soup kitchens and food banks.
