An advocate of public transportation, Josephs said these cars will help reduce the number of cars on the road and the environmentally harmful emissions they produce.

Rep. Babette Josephs referees the tip-off of a game during the summer basketball tournament by the American Legion Henry Hill Post 385 in Grays Ferry. Josephs was instrumental in getting a state grant to help the Legion hold the tournament. The program was aimed at keeping students off the streets in the summer.
