Rep. Thaddeus Kirkland, chairman of the Pennsylvania Legislative Black Caucus, takes part in a CeaseFire PA rally at the state Capitol pushing for the legislature to take action to help Philadelphia and other communities combat handgun-related shootings and murders.

State Rep, Thaddeus Kirkland, chairman of the Pennsylvania Legislative Black Caucus, joins fellow members of PLBC, Gov. Ed Rendell, members of CeaseFire PA, and mayors and police officers from across the state in support of stronger handgun laws to protect the public and police forces across Pennsylvania.

Rep. Kirkland attends a rally at the state Capitol in support of legislation that would give ex-offenders a second chance. Kirkland supports this legislation that would prohibit employers from making hiring decisions based on prior non-violent offenses on the ex-offender's record.
