Prison employees and other community members express frustration and anger over the closing of SCI Cresson during a community meeting hosted by state Rep. Gary Haluska, state Sen. John Wozniak and other members of the House Democatic Policy Committee in Cresson on Jan. 31. The legislators held the meeting to allow employees and local residents, who were not warned or consulted by the Corbett administration before the closing was announced, to voice their concerns.

Rep. Mike O'Brien helps break ground for Philadelphia's first LGBT-friendly senior housing project. In 2010 he worked to secure $7 million in state funding for the project.
