Rep. Conklin presents more than $2 million in state funding to Philipsburg Borough for the Cold Stream Dam restoration project. The funding is designed to protect Pennsylvania communities housing high-hazard dams in need of infrastructure improvements. Joining Conklin are Jan McDonald, Philipsburg borough manager; John Streno, Philipsburg mayor; and John Claybaugh, project designer for Stiffler, McGraw and Assoc., Inc.

Rep. Smith attended a recent student matinee performance of Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre’s “The Nutcracker” at the Benedum Center for the Performing Arts in Pittsburgh’s Cultural District. He visited with students from Jubilee Christian School in Mt. Lebanon.

Rep. Peter Daley presents Todd King, fire chief of the West Brownsville Volunteer Fire Department, with a check for $25,000 to aid in the purchase of protective equipment.

Rep. Bradford volunteers at the Catholic Social Services Food Cupboard to help fill grocery orders in recognition of Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week.

Rep. Conklin joins Linda Tataliba, director of the State College Food Bank, to make a donation of 20 turkeys to aid area families this Thanksgiving.
