State Rep. Vanessa Lowery Brown leads a march in Philadelphia to demonstrate the impact that the state budget impasse is having on day-care centers.

Rep. Gergely joins Dr. Michael Brinkos, superintendent, during a ceremony celebrating the addition of flashing traffic signals at McKeesport Area High School. Rep. Gergely helped secure a $30,500 state grant for the project to make students safer.

Rep. Gergely helps cut the ribbon to mark the installation of flashing traffic signals at McKeesport Area High School. Joining Gergely are Patty Scales, Steve Kondrosky, Dr. Michael Brinkos, McKeesport Mayor James Brewster and Ed Rager. Rep. Gergely helped secure a $30,500 state grant for the project.

Members of the state House Agriculture and Rural Affairs Committee hold a public hearing at Penn State Fayette in Uniontown to discuss current issues affecting Pennsylvania's dairy industry. The Pennsylvania Vegetable Growers Association donates locally grown fresh fruits and vegetables to Loaves & Fishes, Delaware County’s largest food pantry. Rep. Lentz helped secure the donation, saying it will give the pantry’s clients the chance to enjoy farm-fresh produce as a part of the nutritionally balanced meals they receive at Loaves & Fishes.
