One of the greatest features of hunting in Pennsylvania is the Hunters Sharing the Harvest program that allows hunters to donate extra deer meat to their local food banks.

Since being established in 1991, the generosity of our avid sportsmen and women has made a huge impact in the lives of the less fortunate.

Hunters Sharing the Harvest provides more than 200,000 meals annually to food banks, churches and other social organizations feeding the needy. Last year, hunters donated 100,000 pounds of venison. This year, in these tough economic times, your donations are even more needed and appreciated.

If you have some extra deer meat to share, bring it to one of the following local participating meat processors. And, thank you for your generosity.
