I have a proposal to create a statewide, merit-based scholarship program called Reliable Educational Assistance for College Hopefuls (REACH). This scholarship would allow any high school student with a 3.0 GPA and 90% attendance record to go to college for free.

2)Do you support implementing this scholarship program in Pennsylvania?
Yes
No
Other

3) The standards of eligibility for the REACH program, a 3.0 GPA and 90% attendance record, are:
Fair
Too Easy
Too Difficult
Other

4) Do you believe students from public, private, charter and parochial schools should have the opportunity to compete for the same scholarships?
Yes
No
Other

5) Which best describes your opinion of academic scholarships? (Select all that apply)

Academic scholarship programs are:

A "free ride"
An investment in the state's future
Too competitive
Not competitive enough
Good but don't cover enough of the costs to send a child to college
An incentive for students to pursue a higher education
