Wheatley town hall meetings resume this week
PITTSBURGH, Sept. 13 – This week, state Rep. Jake Wheatley, D-Allegheny, will host the latest in a series of town hall meetings for residents of the 19th Legislative District:
- Hill District: 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 15, Epiphany Catholic Church, 184 Washington Place.
- Allentown: 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 22, Allentown Senior Center, 631 E. Warrington Ave.
- Downtown: 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 29, JVH conference room, 2nd floor, Academic Hall, corner of Wood Street and Boulevard of the Allies, Point Park University.
"These town hall meetings are open to all residents of the 19th Legislative District, which includes part or all of these Pittsburgh neighborhoods: the Hill District, North Side, South Side, Allentown, Hazelwood, Downtown, the Bluff, Knoxville, Beltzhoover, Manchester, Arlington, Arlington Heights, and West, South and North Oakland," Wheatley said.
"I want to hear from the people I represent about what's on their minds, and I will also provide an update on potential legislative action in Harrisburg this fall.
