Ravenstahl receives committee appointments
HARRISBURG, Jan. 19 – State Rep. Adam Ravenstahl, D-Allegheny, was assigned to the House Commerce, Urban Affairs, and Tourism and Recreational Development committees for the 2011-12 legislative session.
"I'm particularly pleased to serve on the Commerce Committee where I can address the economy, which remains the top concern of most Pennsylvanians," Ravenstahl said. "Democrats and Republicans must work together in these challenging economic times to preserve the jobs we have and to create family sustaining jobs."
Ravenstahl previously served on the Urban Affairs and Tourism and Recreational Development committees.
He said his reappointment to the Urban Affairs Committee will enable him to address issues that concern Pittsburgh residents. His reappointment to the Tourism Committee allows him to improve Pennsylvania's second largest industry.
