Monday: Frankel to unveil 'Every Voter Counts' package
HARRISBURG, May 18 – State Rep. Dan Frankel, D-Allegheny, will announce details of "Every Voter Counts," a package of voting reforms, at a news conference at 12:30 p.m. Monday, May 21 in the Capitol Media Center.
Several lawmakers are expected to join Frankel at the news conference, including:
- House Democratic Leader Frank Dermody, D-Allegheny;
- Rep. Babette Josephs, D-Phila., Democratic chairperson of the House State Government Committee;
- Rep. John Myers, D-Phila., Democratic chairman of the House Health Committee;
- Rep. Ronald Waters, D-Phila./Delaware, chairman of the Pennsylvania Legislative Black Caucus; and
- Rep. Jake Wheatley, D-Allegheny.
The package will include a bill identical to one recently announced by a Republican senator.
