White, staff will be available to constituents at Washington County Ag Fair

WASHINGTON, Aug. 12 – If it's August, it's time for the annual Washington County Agricultural Fair, and for the third year, state Rep. Jesse White and his staff will be on hand to talk with people, answer questions and provide help with state issues and programs.

White and his staff will be at their booth in Exhibit Hall 2 near the food court from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day of the fair's run from Aug. 15-22.

"We'll have flyers and other information about the spectrum of state programs to benefit citizens, and we can even help people fill out applications for such things as the Property Tax/Rent Rebate Program," White said. "But I especially look forward to talking one-on-one with people about what's happening in Harrisburg and hearing their concerns and advice."

White emphasized that, while he plans to be at the fair personally, depending on state budget developments, he may be called to Harrisburg.

The fair will be open from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. More information about the contests, displays, entertainment and all the other attractions at the fair can be found at www.washingtonfair.org.

The Washington County Agricultural Fair and Expo Center is located on North Main Street in Chartiers Township.
