House Democratic and Republican policy committees
to receive public briefing on 2010 US Census Monday at Capitol
HARRISBURG, Dec. 30 – Chairmen Mike Sturla, D-Lancaster, and Stan Saylor, R-York, announced today that the House Democratic and Republican policy committees will hold a public briefing on the 2010 United States Census at 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, Jan. 4 in the House Majority Caucus Room, 140 Main Capitol Building, Harrisburg.
The briefing will be provided by two U.S. Census officials: Philip Lutz, assistant regional census manager; and Ben Ramos, partnership coordinator.
House State Government Majority Chair Babette Josephs, D-Phila., and Minority Chair Kerry Benninghoff, R-Centre/Mifflin, also will be in attendance.
