Lentz visits local senior center, discusses Harrisburg happenings
WAYNE, July 25 – State Rep. Bryan Lentz, D-Delaware, today visited the Wayne Senior Center to meet with local senior citizens and provide information on state services and discounts they are eligible for, as well as discuss critical issues recently debated or coming up in Harrisburg such as health care and property tax reform.
“I really appreciate that so many seniors took the time to come meet with me to share their thoughts and concerns,” Lentz said. “I was pleased to hear from many good people in my district and provide information that may be helpful to them. If anyone was unable to attend, please feel free to call my office for additional information on services we can provide for you.”
Lentz’s staff was on hand to provide assistance with applications for the Property Tax/Rent Rebate and PACE prescription-drug programs.
Lentz and visitors discussed other topics of importance including vehicle registration discounts, identity theft prevention tips and unemployment benefits.
The event will be televised on the local Radnor station, Channel 21; check the Suburban Times or Main Line Life for air time information.
For more information about future events, call Lentz’s constituent service office at 610-544-7301 or sign up for free e-mail updates through his Web site, www.pahouse.com/Lentz.
