    The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Application for Social Services (COMPASS) is a single access point for all the commonwealth's social service programs.   • Where can I go for state news and programs?

    The Commonwealth’s official site provides state-related news and information for citizens, visitors, and businesses. Allows you to learn about services, state government, request forms, ask questions, access travel and tourism information, find out about regional news, file your taxes, and much more.   • How can I find out where flu-shot clinics are being held?

    You no longer have to rely on word-of-mouth to find out about the location of the flu shots or miss an opportunity to get one. The state Departments of Aging and Health web site helps you locate influenza vaccination clinics in your community. Online flu clinic locator map is available at www.aging.state.pa.us select the link ”Get a Flu Shot.” The Department of Health website, www.health.state.pa.us, also offers a listing of flu clinics accessible through the link titled “Get the Latest on Influenza.”

  • A good place to start is with the PA Department of Health at www.dsf.health.state.pa.us or call 1-877-PA-HEALTH.

  • Where can I find state laws or statutes online?
  • State laws or Statutes are not available online.  You can research state laws in any of the state libraries across the state.  Legislative bills, however, are available via the Internet.  Please visit the online Bill Room at www.legis.state.pa.us

  • How can I check winning Lottery numbers?
  • Lottery numbers are available on the PA PowerPort main screen at www.state.pa.us.  Just scroll down and look in the right-hand column for that listing.  You also can go to the Lottery website www.palottery.state.pa.us, or you can use the link on this site, directly under the "Get Connected" section on each page.
