Rep. Samuelson presents Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development grant checks to the city of Allentown. In the photo to the left, he is joined by Fire Chief Bob Scheirer and Mayor Ed Pawlowski. The $10,000 check will be used for fire hazardous materials equipment and fire investigation equipment. In the photo to the right, Samuelson is pictured with Police Chief Roger MacLean and the mayor. The department will use the $5,000 grant to launch a Civilian Police Academy.
