On Sept. 8, Rep. Wagner held a news conference at Amel’s Restaurant in Pittsburgh to announce her legislation that would amend the new Clean Indoor Air Act. Her bill would give Allegheny County a 90-day window of opportunity to enact its own smoking ban. Wagner said her legislation would give the county an opportunity to create a more level playing field for local businesses and employees as compared to the statewide ban.
