Beechview Community Plan

On Feb. 23 the Community Leaders United for Beechview held its first community meeting in Beechview to discuss what should be done with several prominent properties in Beechview's business district that will soon be for sale. A consultant was at the first meeting to begin working with the community to develop a plan for the properties and to address broad neighborhood issues such as safety, recreation and transportation.

The second meeting will be on March 29 at St. Catherine McCann Hall from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Participants will break into focus groups and discuss issues that were raised at the first community meeting. All residents and stakeholders are encouraged to attend.
