During this program we will discuss the unique challenges faced by Black mothers before, during, and after childbirth, with a focus on perinatal mental health. And together, explore strategies to foster resilience among mothers in our commonwealth and gain valuable insights to advocate for maternal mental health equity in our communities. The PBMHC Legislative Host, Representative Morgan B. Cephas, will be joined by two of our distinguished stakeholders: Saleemah McNeil, founder of Oshun Family Center, and Dr. Ewurama Sackey, the Allegheny Health Network Medical Director of Maternal-Infant Mental Health.
