House Housing & Community Development Committee to hold meeting about increasing housing supply Wednesday in Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH, Sept. 14 – State Rep. Brandon Markosek, D-Allegheny, announced today that he will chair a House Housing & Community Development Committee informational meeting on increasing the housing supply at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 16 at the Allegheny County Courthouse, Gold Room, 4th Floor, 436 Grant St.

Markosek, who serves as majority chairman of the committee, will be joined by the minority chairman, state Rep. Rich Irvin, R-Huntingdon/Franklin, and other committee members from across the state.

“While our committee has been productive this session in sending 22 bills to the Senate, we continue to collect valuable feedback from stakeholders to help us effectively address Pennsylvania’s housing crisis,” Markosek said. “I look forward to hearing more suggestions at our meeting.”
