ADVISORY: Rep. Bizzarro hosts virtual townhall with Pennie

Focuses on insuring Erie residents during open enrollment season.

ERIE, Dec. 8 – It’s open enrollment season for healthcare and State Rep. Ryan Bizzarro, D-Erie, will host a townhall tomorrow about pennie.com, Pennsylvania’s new replacement for Healthcare.gov.

The virtual townhall takes place on Thursday, Dec. 9 from 5:30-6:30 PM and those interested in attending can access the townhall by using this link.

During the townhall meeting, information on the following topics will be provided:

  • Pennsylvania's new replacement for Healthcare.gov - pennie.com
  • How Pennie is the only source for financial assistance for individual health and dental insurance
  • How to access free customer service in Pennie
  • Choices available for Pennsylvanians who lose their employer-sponsored coverage
  • Pennie's Open Enrollment Period (11/1/2021 to 1/15/2022)
  • Financial assistance available under the American Rescue Plan
  • Time will also be permitted for questions and answers
