Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection: Alternative Fuel Vehicle Rebates (Funding Source: Alternative Fuels Incentive Grants Fund)
Who May Apply: Pennsylvania residents who purchase/lease a new or used alternative fuel vehicle. Businesses are not eligible.
Use: To defray costs of purchasing a battery electric vehicle (BEV), hydrogen fuel cell vehicle (HFCV), plug-in hybrid electric vehicle, electric motorcycle, natural gas vehicle, or propane vehicle.
Funds: Up to $1,000 rebate depending on type of vehicle; additional $1,000 rebate for low income households.
Application Deadline: Rebates are first-come, first-served. Application must be submitted within 6 months of purchase.

Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection: Driving PA Forward – Onroad Rebate Program – Trucks and Buses (Funding Source: State Mitigation Trust - Volkswagen Emissions Settlement)
Who May Apply: School districts, municipal authorities, political subdivisions, nonprofits, corporations, air quality or transportation organizations, and others.
Use: Rebates for projects that replace or repower fleets of 5 or fewer class 4-8 trucks, port drayage trucks, school buses, shuttle buses, and/or transit buses with new diesel, electric, or alternative fuels.
Funds: Rebates vary based on type of vehicle. A single entity may be awarded no more than $500,000 in rebates.
Application Deadline: Application window will remain open through December 2020 or until all funds are committed.

Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection: 2019 Recycling Performance Grants (Funding Source: Recycling Fund)
Who May Apply: Any municipality with a recycling program in 2019.
Use: Grants awarded based on total tons recycled and the applicant's recycling rate.
Application Deadline: December 30

Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission: Boating Facility Grant Program (Funding Source: Boat Fund)
Who May Apply: Counties, municipalities, and 501(c)3 nonprofits, such as land trusts, conservancies, and watershed associations.
Use: Planning, acquisition, development, expansion or rehabilitation of motorized and non-motorized boating access areas that are open to the public at no charge. Includes boat ramps, floats, restrooms, access roads, parking areas, landscaping, aquatic invasive species prevention, and signs.
Funds: A 50% match is required. This is a reimbursement grant.

Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection: Small Business Advantage Grant Program (Funding Source: Recycling Fund & Hazardous Sites Cleanup Fund)
Who May Apply: Registered Pennsylvania for-profit businesses with 100 or fewer full-time equivalent employees and which are taxed as a for-profit business.
Use: To purchase energy efficient or pollution prevention equipment, or adopt waste reduction processes. Examples of eligible projects include HVAC and boiler upgrades, high-efficiency LED lighting, digital X-ray equipment, solvent recovery systems, water and waste recycling processes, auxiliary power units (APUs), and agricultural BMPs. Projects must save the small business a minimum of $500 and at least 25% annually in energy consumption or pollution related expenses. Natural resource protection projects must quantify the reduction of nitrogen, phosphorus and sediment loadings reaching the receiving waterway.
Funds: 50% matching reimbursement grants up to a maximum of $7,000. A total of $1 million will be distributed.
Application Deadline: First-come, first-served until funds are expended or April 12, 2021, whichever occurs first.
