Bradford announces $40,000 state grant for local high school
NORRISTOWN, April 4 – State Rep. Matt Bradford, D-Montgomery, today announced Central Montco Technical High School will receive a $40,000 grant to advance its pre-apprenticeship/apprenticeship programs in Montgomery County.
“Congratulations to Central Montco Technical High School,” Bradford said. “I am excited to see opportunities where we can invest in a student’s future and enhance programs that will further prepare them to be added to our growing workforce.”
Central Montco Technical High School, located in Plymouth Meeting, provides technical programs designed for college-bound students as well as those who intend to enter the workforce after graduation.
The Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry awards grants through Local Workforce Development Boards across Pennsylvania. The grants provide funding for pre-apprenticeship and registered apprenticeship programs, and help sponsoring organizations build capacity to improve and expand their programs.
