Bullock to speak at news conference Friday to urge Amtrak to rename 30th Street Station
PHILADELPHIA, Sept. 26 – State Rep. Donna Bullock, D-Phila., will speak at a news conference hosted by U.S. Sen. Bob Casey, D-Pa., and representatives from the Gray Coalition at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 29 at Amtrak’s 30th Street Station in Philadelphia. Bullock will urge Amtrak to rename 30th Street Station as the “William H. Gray III 30th Street Station.”
Bullock is a co-sponsor of H.R. 419, which urges Congress to direct Amtrak to comply with H.R. 4838 of 2014 and immediately rename the 30th Street Station as the "William H. Gray III 30th Street Station."
Also scheduled to attend are state Reps. W. Curtis Thomas and Jordan Harris, both D-Phila.
