HARRISBURG, July 16 – State Rep. Danilo Burgos announced today that four Philadelphia organizations in the 197th Legislative District received a total of $2 million in grants from Pennsylvania’s Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program.
The awards include:
“I am beyond proud to have these dollars invested in the community,” said Burgos, D-Phila. “With these investments from the state, we’re building greater opportunities for both residents and visitors of our communities. I will continue to work in Harrisburg to win every possible grant dollar and make our corner of Philadelphia the best it can be.”
The state’s RACP funds design, acquisition, and construction of regional economic, cultural, civic, recreational and historical improvement projects that have a regional impact and generate substantial increases or maintain levels of employment, tax revenues or other measures of economic activity.
