Burns: $100,000 state grant for Conemaugh Valley SD

State grant will help fund stadium renovations

EBENSBURG, Nov. 3 – Continuing his efforts to help local communities fund big projects and save local taxpayer dollars, state Rep. Frank Burns today announced that Conemaugh Valley School District has been awarded a $100,000 state grant to help fund renovations at the district’s football stadium.

“When Conemaugh Valley needed help to fund their stadium lighting project, I went to bat for them in Harrisburg and helped secure this state grant,” Burns said. “Finding state funding for local projects like this helps save local tax dollars – just one of the ways that I’m always working for our area.”

Since taking office, Burns has helped secure more than $280 million in state funding for projects large and small, from multi-million sewer and water upgrades to grants for parks and literacy programs like the Dolly Parton Imagination Library.
