Burns to host free Senior Fair on Sept. 15

EBENSBURG, Aug. 31 – State Rep. Frank Burns, D-Cambria, will host his free annual Senior Fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 15 at Young People’s Community Center, 300 Prave St.

Burns said the popular event will feature information on programs and services for senior citizens; games and prizes; refreshments; and resources from local, county and state agencies.

“This is one of the most successful constituent service programs we offer because it helps folks learn how they and their families can get help,” Burns said. “My staff and I also look forward to hosting this event because it lets us connect with so many who live in the 72^nd Legislative District.”

Burns and his staff can assist with a range of senior-related programs, including those involving health insurance counseling, PACE/PACENET, Property Tax/Rent Rebate, elder abuse, consumer protection, insurance company disputes and legal services.
