Burns: Nearly $30,000 for secured for Ridge Park plan

Will fund development plan for 63-acre park in Upper Yoder Township

EBENSBURG, Oct. 6 – Continuing his commitment to improving quality of life for the working families of his district, state Rep. Frank Burns today announced that Westmont Borough has secured $29,000 to fund a master site development plan for the 63-acre Ridge Park in Upper Yoder Township.

Burns said the grant from the PA Department of Conservation and Natural Resources will lay the groundwork for new recreational opportunities for the region.

“This state grant through DCNR is specifically for projects like this,” Burns said. “Securing this new funding will allow Westmont Borough to obtain a master site development plan for the 63-acre Ridge Park in Upper Yoder Township so residents can get the most out of this beautiful region.”
