The issues that matter to our neighbors are my greatest driving force for the work I do in Harrisburg. That's why it was great to join Senator Judy Schwank and West Reading Mayor Samantha Kaag for a town hall, where we had the chance to answer questions and have a fruitful discussion around state and local matters.
I am always glad to hear what issues matter to you. If there is a state-related issue you need help with, please reach out to my office.

Three Years Since the RM Palmer Tragedy
|
Next Tuesday will mark three years since the tragic explosion at the RM Palmer Chocolate Factory at West Reading that took seven lives and left over a dozen injured. The Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission announced that it is seeking more than $2 million in penalties against UGI for the incident.
We need accountability. I have introduced three bills that would create solutions to the causes of this accident so that no other community or family in Pennsylvania has to suffer the way ours has. Two of those bills now await passage in the state Senate, and you can learn more on WFMZ here.
