Heading Back to Harrisburg
|
In April, I joined my colleagues to pass a bipartisan budget that would improve funding to our schools, keep vital programs running to support all of us, and so much more.
However, due to inaction from the Senate, the June 30 budget deadline has come and gone with no budget passed. Now, I will be joining my colleagues in Harrisburg this weekend to continue working to pass the budget.
I will provide updates as the budget process continues. You can watch this Saturday's Appropriations Committee meeting here, and Sunday's House session here.

You can learn more here and contact my office for support with your application.

My office can help you receive this unclaimed property. Contact us or go to PATreasury.gov/unclaimed-property to see if there is anything available in your name.

It was a pleasure to celebrate Independence Day by marching in the Wyomissing Independence Day Parade alongside my district office team and members of my Youth Advisory Council.
|
Seeing so many families, neighbors, and community organizations come together was a wonderful reminder of what makes our communities so strong. As we celebrate our nation's independence and commemorate America's 250th anniversary, let us continue working together to build a brighter future for the next generation.
|
In addition to the Wyomissing parade, I also joined leaders from throughout our community for the Celebration of Heroes Ceremony, hosted by the West Reading-Wyomissing Rotary Club.
As we recognize our nation's 250th anniversary, it is important to remember that our nation's story has always been written by ordinary people who answered an extraordinary call to serve. To me, my first hero was my father, who taught me the value of hard work, compassion, faith, and serving others that I still carry with me every day.
It was an honor to recognize our veterans, our active-duty military, our first responders, and every hero who has placed service above themselves to ensure that we can serve our community, care for one another, and ensure that our next generation can inherit a stronger nation than the one we received.
