Period Pantry
2:30 PM to 5:30 PM
Health Partners Plans Community Wellness Center 6232 Market Street, Philadelphia, PA 19139

Health Partners Plans is proud to partner with No More Secrets Mind Body Spirit Inc. to increase awareness of period poverty and access to menstrual health resources in the communities we serve. We invite you to join us for A Celebration of Herstory , marking the grand opening of our new period pantry at our Community Wellness Center, which will serve as the first official DOT Spot location for No More Secrets. Period poverty affects two in five people who menstruate, preventing many from affording basic menstrual hygiene products. It disproportionately impacts Black and Latina women and can lead to missed school, work, and other essential activities. No one should have to miss out on daily life because they can’t afford period products. That’s why Health Partners Plans is committed to menstrual equity as part of our broader focus on whole-person health. We believe health extends far beyond hospitals and doctors' offices— and to improve lives, partnerships like the one we have with No More Secrets are essential . At this event, we will distribute free menstrual products, provide menstrual health education, and offer access to community health workers who can assist with scheduling women’s health appointments. The event will feature an impactful presentation by No More Secrets on the importance of having a gynecologist, along with special guests, giveaways, and refreshments. This event is free and open to all, including Health
