DeLissio to discuss COVID-19 at her 97th Town Hall

PHILADELPHIA, July 8 – State Rep. Pamela A. DeLissio, D-Montgomery/Phila., will host her 97th Town Hall via Facebook Live at 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 21.

The discussion at this virtual town hall will center on a COVID-19 review and update.

“Each of us has had to adjust to this new uncertainty and many have had to access resources like unemployment compensation, some for the very first time. During this approximately 35-minute town hall, I will share my experiences in the state legislature, the many session days and the numerous debates on an abundance of topics, and my ongoing commitment to represent and care for the needs and health of my constituents,” said DeLissio.

This will be DeLissio’s fifth consecutive town hall via Facebook Live since the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak and in compliance with the Governor’s stay-at-home guidance. DeLissio said, “We looked into the possibility of holding this town hall in person, however, the infection control guidance that we would need to follow for an event such as a town hall were prohibitive. And we are reaching more and different constituents by offering the town hall virtually.”

“I continue to welcome residents from all parts of the 194th to join us and participate in the discussion,” she said. “This has proven to be a unique but effective way to maintain communication with my constituents.”

Those interested should visit at 7 p.m. July 21. Comments or questions can be posted live in the comment stream during the town hall, or they can be emailed in advance to, or a message can be left at 215-482-8726.
