DeLissio to host 110th Town Hall meeting virtually Sept. 17

PHILADELPHIA, Sept. 3 – State Rep. Pam DeLissio, D-Montgomery/Phila., will host her 110th Town Hall meeting virtually at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 17.

The topic will be redistricting, with guest speaker Carol Kuniholm, co-founder and chair of Fair Districts PA.

“I have worked with Fair Districts PA since its inception and Carol will share with us the focused redistricting reform efforts of this grassroots organization,” said DeLissio. “2021 is the year that we redraw legislative district boundaries for state senate and representative offices and Congress. This town hall will provide an important update as to where we are in the process and how you can advocate for non-gerrymandered districts.”

DeLissio looks forward to talking about the process of redistricting and how citizens can become involved.

“I hope many community members can join us to learn more about this crucial issue that impacts us all.”

This will be DeLissio’s 18th Town Hall held virtually since the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak, and DeLissio said the online format continues to provide an excellent way to keep in touch.

“Each town hall continues to bring familiar faces and new ones, too. All residents of the 194th District are welcome to join,” she said.

The meeting will be held over Zoom and livestreamed to DeLissio’s Facebook page. To participate through Zoom, those interested must register by 5 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 16 using this link. After registration, Zoom login information will be sent.

Residents may also email and a registration link will be sent. Once someone is registered, Zoom login information will be sent.
