GREEN TREE, Jan. 29 – State Rep. Dan Deasy, D-Allegheny, announced today that a total of $290,000 in state grants administered by the Commonwealth Financing Authority will support two recreational projects in Green Tree.
“These projects directly impact the 27th District,” Deasy said. “I’m always looking to bring these state dollars back for our communities and these projects that enhance the quality of life for residents.”
Deasy said the grants, funded by the Gaming Economic Development and Tourism Fund, were awarded to the following projects:
The GEDTF provides grants to municipalities, government authorities and businesses to support economic development projects in Allegheny County. Managed by the Redevelopment Authority of Allegheny County, these grants help fund initiatives for current and future growth.
