Delloso to host Policy Committee hearing on Jobs and Labor Market Thursday in Essington
ESSINGTON, Sept. 30 – State Rep. David Delloso, D-Delaware, will host a House Democratic Policy Committee public hearing on Jobs and the Labor Market this week.
The hearing will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 3 at the IAM AW Local Lodge 1776, 251 Jansen Ave., Essington. The media and public are invited to attend.
Delloso requested the hearing to discuss a variety of labor issues, including worker training and education, local hiring and job trends, unionization, prevailing wages, misclassifications, and collective bargaining. He will be joined by state legislators from across Pennsylvania, including Policy Committee Chairman Mike Sturla, D-Lancaster.
Testifiers will include local labor leaders and Bill Gross, director of the Bureau of Mediation at the PA Department of Labor and Industry.
