Delloso to host expungement, pardon clinic Jan. 18 to aid residents

RIDLEY PARK, Jan. 7 – Community partners will join state Rep. David Delloso when he hosts an expungement and pardon clinic at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 18 at Collingdale Borough Hall to assist residents and answer questions about the process.

“This clinic is an attempt to help residents and neighbors who have turned their lives around yet continue to find obstacles in their way because of a minor criminal offense in their past,” Delloso said. “For some of our residents, a decades-old conviction has prevented them from finding employment opportunities and higher-paying jobs. This clinic is a great way for people to find out if they qualify and learn about the process, including the state’s move to make all pardon applications free in 2019.”

Residents interested in the clinic should RSVP and reserve a spot by calling Delloso’s office at 610-534-1002.

Representatives from Legal Aid of Southeastern PA will attend alongside Delloso to provide the assistance and experience needed to answer questions on expungements, pardons and social justice reform.

The clinic will last from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the downstairs community room at Collingdale Borough Hall, 800 MacDade Blvd.
