Pa. state Rep. Danielle Friel Otten put her 6 and 8 year old on the school bus the morning after the shooting at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde. She talked with them about what happened in Texas and tried to assure them they would be safe at school. She says that moments of silence are not enough, but are sadly apropos given the silence and inaction she has seen from the Pa. House Republican Caucus. One day after the shooting in Uvalde, TX, that caucus chose to do nothing yet again. She is holding them accountable and calling on them to act.
