Hill-Evans hosts LGBTQ Town Hall event
HARRISBURG, July 17 – State Rep. Carol Hill-Evans, D-York, today announced there will be an LGBTQ Town Hall style event held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 18 at the Candy Factory, Warehouse D, 342 N. Queen St., Lancaster, PA 17603.
The event includes questions and answers about LGBTQ issues with local state representatives, an early access dance party, and will serve as a Pride fundraiser.
State Reps. Mike Sturla, D-Lancaster, and Patty Kim, D-Dauphin, will be joining Hill-Evans in support of the event. This is the first collaborative event by members of the South Central Pennsylvania Delegation of the House Democratic Caucus.
The South Central Pennsylvania Delegation of the House Democratic Caucus will be holding a listening tour this summer with a stop in each city of the region, hosted by a local LGBTQ organization.
