Smith-Wade-El to host Senior Health Fair Sept. 22

LANCASTER, Sept. 11 – State Rep. Ismail Smith-Wade-El, D-Lancaster, will host his annual free Senior Health Fair from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 22, at Bright Side Opportunities Center, 515 Hershey Ave.

This year’s theme is From Memories to Memoirs: Telling Your Story the Easy Way. The event will feature two guest storytellers who will guide attendees in preserving and sharing their life stories with their families.

“My free senior health fair is one of the highlights of my year,” Smith-Wade-El said. “This event will be especially meaningful as there will be an opportunity for our seniors to learn how to document and share their stories so that younger generations can benefit from their wisdom and pass those stories down for years to come.”

In addition to the storytelling presenters, attendees will be able to enjoy the vendor hall, play bingo, and share refreshments.
