Do you support pedestrian and bicyclist safety in Pennsylvania?
The state legislature is currently considering changes to the vehicle code, including a fix that's desperately needed to give transportation planners and engineers the option of using protected bike lane to help reduce speeding and increase safety on roadways for bicyclists, pedestrians and motorists.
This is a technical fix that will allow Pittsburgh, Philadelphia and other communities across the state to install this commonsense design that calms traffic and improves safety while preserving motor vehicle parking. It's a win-win-win for our communities: Cyclists, pedestrians, and drivers alike.
It’s time to update the vehicle code so we can build safer, more equitable streets that connect our communities.
Thank you for your support.
