Isaacson announces new committee assignments

After being sworn in for her fourth term in office yesterday, state Rep. Mary Isaacson said she is excited to announce her committee assignments for the 2025-26 legislative session.

Isaacson will serve on the following committees:

  • House Education Committee.
  • House Consumer Protection, Technology and Utilities Committee.
  • House Transportation Committee.
  • House Environmental and Natural Resources Protection Committee.
  • House Ethics Committee.
  • House Liquor Control Committee.

 

“I’m incredibly thankful to Speaker Joanna McClinton and Leader Bradford for honoring me with these committee assignments,” Isaacson said. “Committees serve as a way for lawmakers to gather information from experts and those personally affected by the issues on the table. I look forward to working with my colleagues and coming up with innovative solutions to the problems that Pennsylvanians face.”

Isaacson also serves as vice-chair of the House Democratic Policy Committee which shapes legislation that profoundly affects a myriad of issues that are important to Pennsylvania.

“Having conversations and listening to new perspectives is vital to ensuring that we are making informed decisions that impact Pennsylvania and the great people who live here,” Isaacson said. “From better educational opportunities and funding to transportation issues, I look forward to having a seat at the table and addressing issues facing both Philadelphia and the Commonwealth.”
