Pa. state Rep. Mary Isaacson and the PA House Environment and Natural Resource Protection Committee heard testimony from community leaders and stakeholders about the need for more information and consideration of the cumulative impacts of polluters on their communities. Currently, the PA Department of Environmental Protection can designate environmental justice areas in PA communities, but nothing requires consideration of cumulative pollution when issuing permits.
