PHILADELPHIA, Feb. 6 – State Rep. Kevin Boyle, D-Phila., announced today that a $10,000 grant has been awarded to Burholme First Aid Corps Inc. in his legislative district.
This funding comes from the Pennsylvania Office of the State Fire Commissioner, who awarded a total of $31 million across the state for fire companies and emergency medical services through the Fire Company and Emergency Medical Service Grant Program (FCEMSGP).
"The men and women at Burholme play a critical role as EMS employees in our community,” Boyle said. “I’m excited to see them awarded this funding and hope it will help them respond to constituents who need emergency medical attention.”
