HARRISBURG, March 9 – State Rep. Kevin Boyle, D-Phila., announced that he has been appointed to serve as the new majority chairman of the House Insurance Committee.
The Insurance Committee has jurisdiction over the state Department of Insurance. The committee reviews bills that regulate home, auto, life, and health insurance, as well as fraternal society group benefits.
“I am excited to have been appointed chair of this committee and look forward to getting to work keeping quality insurance affordable for all Pennsylvanians,” Boyle said.
