Rep. Kenyatta commends Temple for providing dumpsters throughout his district

PHILADELPHIA, June 30 – To address the issue of trash on the streets of Philadelphia, Temple University will be providing dumpsters at multiple locations throughout the city. State Rep. Malcolm Kenyatta, D-Phila., commends Temple’s response.

“We have had a huge problem with trash and litter on our streets,” Kenyatta said. “I want to thank Temple University for providing our community with dumpsters for public use. I believe that easy, public access to throw away trash will help clean up our streets.”

There will be dumpsters available from today, June 30 until Saturday, July 2 for public use at these locations:

  • 16th & Diamond 
  • 16th & Berks
  • 17th & Cecil B Moore
  • 17th & Norris
  • 18th & Berks

From July 19 until Aug. 12, there will be dumpsters to address trash from students moving in and out at these locations:

  • 16th & Cecil B Moore
  • 16th & Diamond
  • 16th & Berks
  • 17th & Cecil B Moore
  • 17th & Norris
  • 17th & Oxford
  • 18th & Norris
  • 18th & Berks
