PHILADELPHIA, Nov. 6 -- Rep. Malcolm Kenyatta, D-Phila., released the following statement about the planned antisemitic bike rally this weekend:
"Targeting Jewish-owned businesses because of their faith is wrong, and in our guts, we all know it. Criticism of a foreign government, or our government for that matter, is not only a right but critical to a healthy democracy, and I support that. But targeting any group because of who they are and how they pray is not who we are as Pennsylvanians.
"For me this has always been so simple. No one gets to be treated like crap because of who they are, and when it happens, we have to call it out. Antisemitism, like all hate, makes us all less safe."
