HARRISBURG, Oct. 24 – State Rep. Patty Kim, D-Dauphin/Cumberland, today received the Legislator of the Year Award from the National Association of Social Workers Pennsylvania Chapter in recognition of her work as chair of the PA House Aging & Older Adult Services Committee and for her advocacy of legislation to improve state services and public programs.
“The work that social workers do in Pennsylvania is important and lifesaving,” Kim said. “It is an honor to receive this award from a group of professionals that have devoted their lives to helping people.”
