HARRISBURG, Feb. 9 – State Rep. Stephen Kinsey, D-Phila., made a statement regarding Gov. Wolf’s 2022 budget address.
“I am happy with the proposed budget that Governor Wolf presented. His priorities are in line with what my constituents and I expect of this legislature,” Kinsey said. This includes increased spending for education, workforce development, supporting seniors, environmental/agricultural investments, gun violence reduction and criminal justice reform, which I recently rolled out seven pieces of legislation for. The money in this budget plan would help out with these reforms.”

Kinsey continued, “As a member of the Appropriations Committee, I will advocate for and support the governor’s initiative to make sure we can get those additional dollars where they’re needed. I’m looking forward to robust discussion over the next few weeks so we can inquire about a budget that will help serve the people of Pennsylvania.”
