Kinsey issues statement on leaked message about Roe v. Wade possibly being overturned

HARRISBURG, May 3 – State Rep. Stephen Kinsey, D-Phila., issued a statement on the leaked message that the U.S. Supreme Court could overturn Roe v. Wade.

“As a father of daughters, I don’t want the government to legislate what my daughters or any woman can or can’t do with her body,” Kinsey said. “As Republicans have made attempts to pass anti-abortion legislation in the past, I have stood firm in protecting a woman’s right to choose. I will continue to fight on behalf of women’s rights.”

A leaked draft opinion from Politico indicates that the Supreme Court is set to overturn Roe v. Wade.
